Finally! Some more examples of non spontaneous to spontaneous concepts! :D
Okay after the failed attempts on Tuesday, I know I should have given up by now. But I was thinking some more and got a few examples. I really hope it works this time!!
Example 1: Please bear with me, it is a personal anecdote. When I was growing up and was about 11/12 years old, my mom one day came next to me and said that she would tell me and explain something important that was going to happen to me (and that it happens to all women). It was about menstruation!! I swear I had no clue about this whatsoever previously. Now you might think that I knew and had experienced bleeding in general and so this should not be new. But trust me, I always thought bleeding was a bad thing (in the sense, it signified hurt and required attention and treatment). However, now suddenly my mom was telling me that I was going to bleed every month, starting soon, and that it was completely normal! She was explaining what I need to do when it starts. She also explained briefly about how it helps in bringing a new baby to this world. This definitely seemed like it did not make any sense at all at that point. It was a non spontaneous concept. Obviously, later it turned into a spontaneous concept about 6 months after my mom told me, when I attained puberty. And in high school, peer interactions and my biology classes made it clearer. But it started off as a non spontaneous concept!
Example 2: My second example is something many can relate to. It is organic chemistry. All those equations and molecular structures was all non spontaneous when I was first introduced to it. I had nothing to compare it to and understand. The lab experiments and interactions helped in making it clear to some extent but the lab experiments happened only after the concepts were first introduced in class. All those inert gases, benzene rings, all seemed non spontaneous. Sometimes, I feel it never became spontaneous, as I still don't understand it completely :P

The next example is of an abstract concept (not scientific concept), but it is non spontaneous and I guess rarely turns into spontaneous concept.
Example: God! In India especially, most families introduce the concept of god really young. For instance, when my niece was just over 1, her parents would start making her join her hands in prayer, in front of an idol. At that point, the child has no understanding of what god is or why there is some larger power! So it is a non spontaneous concept.
